Valley Little Melodies
Welcome! Valley Little Melodies is the premier studio for educationally driven music and movement classes!! We offer classes from Birth - 4. In every Kindermusik class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will have fun singing, moving, playing instruments, and hearing stories—while simultaneously developing social skills, problem-solving skills, pre-math skills, and a foundation for reading. Our music classes for children focus on whole-child development and build the skills children need to be successful in both school and life. A trained, licensed Kindermusik educator will guide your class from one activity to the next, helping you understand how your child is developing musically, cognitively, and socially. Kindermusik classes are a great place to meet other grownups and get tips on how to use music to help make your everyday routines at home just a bit easier. Ms. Cara
Meet our owner, Cara Vernal! Cara grew up in Canfield, Ohio and currently resides in her old neighborhood with her husband and 4 year old daughter, Ella. She has a passion for teaching and life-long learning. Cara was a classroom teacher for 8 years before "retiring" to raise her daughter full time. Cara has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Specializing in Literacy. Cara has always known the power music has on children and learning. She spent her days in the classroom singing and teaching her students math and literacy concepts through song and rhyme. Cara started taking Kindermusik classes with her daughter in Cleveland when Ella was a baby and absolutely fell in love with the Kindermusik curriculum, structure of the program, and most importantly the special one on one time she got with Ella. Cara couldn’t believe how much her daughter grew socially and cognitively during the classes. She immediately looked into how she could bring these classes to her hometown of Canfield and she opened VLM in the Fall of 2017. Cara is excited to meet you and your little ones!
